Nursing standard of care review

A standard of care review looks at what the nurses did and did not do: assessment and reassessment, escalation to providers, medication administration, monitoring, documentation, and adherence to the facility's policies. The reviewer should practice in the same specialty as the care in question, so ICU cases go to ICU nurses.

What you get

  • Each potential deviation described, with the policy or practice it departs from
  • The supporting chronology entries and source pages
  • Severity and open questions, clearly separated from conclusions
  • Findings tracked in the case workspace and exported with the chronology

When firms use it

  • After merit screening, to build the nursing theory of the case
  • Responding to a complaint (defense and risk management)
  • Preparing deposition outlines for nursing staff

How it works

  1. 1. Post a redacted brief. Case type, specialties, page count, deadline and budget. We check it for names and identifiers before it goes live.
  2. 2. Compare proposals. Consultants in matching specialties see it first and propose a flat fee or hourly rate. Each attests to having no conflict with the parties you list.
  3. 3. Hire and share records. Pay through the platform; we hold payment until you accept the work. Records go into an encrypted workspace only your team and your consultant can open.

Questions

How do you match a reviewer to the case?+

You list the clinical specialties involved. Consultants with those specialties see the case first, and you can invite specific consultants from our directory.

Can the reviewer testify?+

Some consultants also serve as testifying experts. Mark the case as possibly requiring testimony and their profiles show whether they testify and at what rate.

Post a redacted brief, compare proposals

Describe the case without names. License-verified nurses in the right specialty send proposals with their experience and rate. Records are shared only after you hire, in an encrypted workspace.
